Well, what a day that was! The 15th of November was one of the best days in the gardens to date. We had so many people eager to learn more about seed saving, we had harvest swap, sooooo many amazing seedlings for sale and we also had an extra special demonstration from the one and only Sue Anderson (an incredibly special woman who volunteers in the gardens each week) teaching us how to make an Olla pot, which is an ancient way of watering that reduces evaporation, is very water efficient and encourages plants to dive for their water. This was also the day that the winners of our big raffle were drawn! The raffle was a huge success, raising funds to go towards the all-purpose shelter for the Community Gardens and we are so incredibly grateful for all those who supported us. We have the BEST community!
