Seed Savers gatherings provide an opportunity to share stories, seeds and valuable information and experiences about growing our own food and becoming self-sufficient. Our purpose is to save and exchange locally-grown seeds and propagating material, and to collect, sort, and package seeds for our club Seed Bank. We preserve and pass on these heritage, locally-acclimatised seeds to fellow gardeners to ensure the future food security of our community.

We welcome Iris Bax to the positions of Seed Savers Coordinator and Library Workshop Coordinator and thank her for ensuring these important activities continue. Stay tuned for more regarding meeting times and workshop topics!

WHERE: Cooroy Community Gardens Pavilion, 26 Emerald Street, Cooroy.

WHENSeed Savers is on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10am- 12pm.

We look forward to sharing knowledge and wisdom and keeping the magic of seed-saving alive in our community.
