We are happy to announce that we will be holding the Official Opening of our Pavilion at the Community Garden, Cooroy on Saturday the 2nd September 2023.
Bendigo Bank, who is our major sponsor, will be celebrating their 21st birthday in Cooroy and announcing the new name of Bendigo Bank Community Pavilion, Cooroy.
Starting time 2pm. It promises to be a great afternoon which will flow on to Bendigo Bank’s Spring Fair from 5pm onwards.

Hello PCN Committee, A friend sent me a copy of permanews as she knows I would attend this Saturday, if I was able to. Sadly your event falls on the Off Grid & Lifestyle Expo at Goomeri this coming weekend and we, Gympie Permaculture, have a stall at this event. I wanted to say congratulations to you all for achieving what you have at the Community Gardens. I was the treasurer on the PCN committee for 3 years and my friend Lorraine was the secretary at the same time.
I cant remember which of those 3 years the Cooroy Community Gardens came to our committee meeting and asked if we would take over the community gardens as the people involved were dwindling and those left had lost the enthusiasm for it. I think I was on the Committee for 2016,17 & 18. It would have been entered into the minutes so probably easily found. Good luck & well done. Cheers Wendy Strathearn
