Scott has an amazing fruit orchard on his 1/2 acre block in the middle of Beerwah. Rarely open to the public, his garden is packed full of exotic fruit trees, including many tropical varieties which aren’t supposed to be able to be grown in our subtropical climate. This is a unique opportunity to view, but also to learn how to successfully propagate and grow hundreds of subtropical and tropical fruit trees in our area. With many of his trees currently fruiting this is the perfect time of year to sample some of these unique fruit varieties.
A limited supply of plants will be available for purchase on the day (cash only).

Aaron, Petrina and Louise’s Lulu’s Perch is a 5 acre permaculture farm in Pinbarren. The once ornamental gardens have been transformed into a highly productive food forest and is an excellent demonstration of permaculture gardening. Aaron has spent much of his time hand digging his earthworks, evolving his food forest, building fertility and teaching children how to create permaculture gardens. You are certain to learn something new at Lulu’s perch that you can take home to your garden. Aaron is part of the Living Classroom Project team, and has regularily spoken at our Club Nights. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see a teaching permaculture garden.
