On Tuesday 11th February 2025 Noosa Library is running a great event at The Bendigo Bank Pavilion, Cooroy.
The Speaker will be Iris who is a passionate gardener and regenerative farmer who focuses on sustainable agriculture. She uses permaculture, syntropic, and biodynamic principles to grow food in harmony with nature and restore ecosystems. Iris is dedicated to building healthy soil, supporting biodiversity, and creating resilient systems. She also loves working with urban communities to turn small spaces into productive, eco-friendly gardens that support local food and sustainability in city life. Iris created a mini garden, inside her van while traveling Australia, utilising microgreens, sprouts and herbs. In this workshop, we will explore sprouts, microgreens, water gardens and more. Nutrient dense veggie production made easy!
Held at Cooroy Community Gardens, 26 Emerald Street, Cooroy.
This event is a partnership between the Noosa Seed Library and Permaculture Noosa.
