Seed Savers meetings are an opportunity to share information and experiences about growing our own food and becoming more self-sufficient. Our purpose is to save and exchange seeds and propagating material, and to sort, package and collect seeds for our Seed Bank. We preserve and pass on these heritage seeds to fellow gardeners to ensure our future food security.
WHERE: Usually at Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens, 26 Emerald Street, Cooroy. Please check with our Seed Savers Coordinator to find out if any change to the venue has been decided.
WHEN: the third Sunday of each month. Start times are seasonally adjusted in accordance with CCPG Sunday morning working bees – see below for the time and date. Please check with our Seed Savers Coordinator to find out if any change to the date has been decided.
Come along for a cuppa and a chat with like-minded people and bring any excess seeds, plant cuttings and gardening tips because we love to share!
