COME AND JOIN US – LIVING BEE for Wednesday 23 October
Where: Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens.
26 Emerald Street, Cooroy.
Time: 9 – 11am
Task: Planting pioneer species and Subtropical vegetables into the Food Forest. We will also be naming these important foods and discussing their uses.
Bring: Any number of cutting, seedlings, seeds you may have.
Types of plants needed: Aibika, pigeon pea seeds or plants, black sugar cane, sweet potato runners. Any summer beans (eg snake).
On the day, please also feel free to share your excess plant materials with others.
Subtropical growing is one of Permaculture Noosa’s specialties and we want to make your food security become a delight. So come along and spend some time meeting plants that make our Summer season of eating a delicious collection of flavours.
We will set up the marquee if conditions are hot. A picnic morning tea will take place in the Garden.
Please bring a plate to share and a rug or chair. Tea and coffee will be provided.
