THE PERMACULTURE RESEARCH INSTITUTE SUNSHINE COAST INC. Accredited Permaculture courses and PDC / Permaculture Design Certificate courses. The Permaculture Research Institute Sunshine Coast Inc. is an Incorporated Not for Profit Organisation set up to further education in Permaculture, Sustainability and Self Reliance. PRI Sunshine Coast runs permaculture courses, PDC / Permaculture Design Certificate courses and training in sustainability and self reliance on the Permaculture Demonstration Site “Maungaraeeda”, a Permaculture Designed property in the Noosa Hinterland village of Kin Kin on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. The beautiful Noosa Shire is a United Nations accredited Biosphere area and has an amazing diversity of Flora and Fauna. Training and courses are run by Zaia and Tom Kendall, who have been training people in Permaculture on the property for 11 years. Proceeds of the courses are used to further permaculture education by improving on and adding to the existing permaculture systems on the demonstration site. WELCOME TO THE BIG HOUSE & ELEMENTAL PERMACULTURE Permaculture Design Course Held over four long weekend workshops in 2017, our permaculture course focuses on the home garden and provides a unique approach so you can develop a deeper understanding of Permaculture theory through wonderful teaching and by engaging a ‘hands on’ approach by working in the garden. Each weekend starts on Thursday evening and carries through to Sunday Afternoon, providing plenty of time for teaching, practical application, great discussion, and some relaxation. CRYSTAL WATERS  ECO VILLAGE near Maleny Permaculture Design Certificate Courses held during the year led by Max Lindegger a Permaculture pioneer of 35 years experience  . Also Robyn Clayfield a well known Permaculture author and trainer.  The location is Crystal Waters, an ecovillage community co op, developed over 27 years ago along Permaculture principles.  It now houses over 200 people of all ages in 83 properties, on 650 acres of bushland at the headwaters of the Mary River.
SEED INTERNATIONAL Morag Gamble and Evan Raymond are also long time residents of Crystal Waters and offer a variety of workshops at the village through out the year.
