Get set for a great presentation and join our guest speaker Aaron Mears from Lulu’s Perch Permaculture Farm as he provides a step by step guide on how to create an abundant food forest. How do you start a food forest? What’s the best way to build it? How do we maintain it? From earthworks, to species lists, chop and drop routines and more, learn how you can convert your bare lawn into a beautiful permaculture ecosystem that looks after itself!
Aaron is a local permaculture teacher and consultant on the Sunshine Coast who helps people design, build and maintain their food growing systems. He is a student of renowned permaculturalist Geoff Lawton and learned how to create regenerative systems in the Jordanian Desert and deforested areas of the Amazon. Aaron aims to build strong and resilient communities through the shared practice of growing food and his innate love for the natural world.
