Our recent Club Night speaker (1st June) was Anne Gibson and what a speech it was. Anne’s knowledge of the ancient practice of moon gardening and how to work with nature for better harvests and healthy plants was so interesting and inspiring. Her moon calendar is a great tool for getting started and staying in rhythm with your garden. You can find Anne’s information and tools here at The Micro Gardener. Thanks Anne, for sharing your knowledge with us all. A great night!

We hope you can join us at our next Club Night the 6th July at the Cooroy Memorial Hall where we welcome our guest speakers Tim and Amber from Kandanga Farm Store. Did you see them on Landline recently? These two local legends are the faces behind Bos Rural & Kandanga Farm Store working their magic in the areas of livestock management, cover crop and pasture regeneration, infrastructure, consulting as well as providing the area with an adorably homely cafe. Guided by strong principles of growing Regional Australia through regeneration, prosperity, reverse corporatisation, and decentralization, they have made a huge impact on how farmers near and far view their position on the land and have helped to steer many away from the decades old industrial farming concept. We are excited to have Tim and Amber join us, and we hope you can join us too!

ALSO…. Don’t forget the community raffle! Bring anything you wish to donate to the raffle, whether it be excess produce, homemade goodies or little crafty bits and bobs! We will also be welcoming you all to join us for a “bring a plate” or “gold coin” shared supper after the meeting and of course for a chat! See you on the 6th of July!

Permaculture Noosa monthly meetings are held at the Cooroy Memorial Hall on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Doors open at 6:00 pm, when a market takes place, where we share surplus home grown produce and plants by giving, exchanging, or selling. At 6:30 pm our presentation begins which includes an interesting guest speaker each month.

Entry is a $5 donation for non-members. There is no charge for members.

Do consider bringing friends or neighbours to our meetings. It’s how we grow the group and may be inspiring to them as well. As always, you will leave the meeting better informed!

To find out more, follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

See you there……

Anyone who has genuine financial difficulties and cannot afford the entry donation will be excused. We will not turn anyone away.
