We are excited to welcome Peter Kearney who will introduce to you the key concepts of biodynamic gardening and farming methods. Biodynamics can be used to complement organic and permaculture systems and is very effective at potentising life processes in soil and plants. Get an understanding of how you can integrate biodynamic methods into your food growing and regenerative land management.
Peter Kearney of Samford Brisbane, Australia has worked with biodynamic methods for 30 years. His focus is on food growing around urban and peri-urban environments, from backyard to small scale commercial. Peter’s biodynamically managed food gardens are a picture of health and vitality. Peter is a director of Biodynamic Agriculture Australia and regularly presents at international conferences on integrating biodynamic methods into urban agriculture. Peter has progressively spread his interest in urban agriculture to impact 1000’s of people via his business, My Food Garden. Peter teaches organic and biodynamic food growing through workshops and consults on food garden design and management via his coaching and advisory services.

CLUB NIGHT
Location: Cooroy Memorial Hall, 23 Maple St, Cooroy
Open at 6:00 pm.
Markets: Plants, Seeds, Produce and more!
At 6:30 pm our presentation begins.
Raffle: Our community raffle is a community effort. Please bring anything you wish to donate to the raffle, whether it be excess produce, homemade goodies or little crafty bits and bobs! Please place any items in the box inside the front door.
Supper: Dahl ($6/bowl) and Chai ($4 bottomless cup, keep cups welcome!) will be for sale on the night plus we welcome you to bring a plate to share for a snack and chat together after the meeting.
Entry is a $5 donation for non-members. There is no charge for members.
Do consider bringing friends or neighbours to our meetings. It’s how we grow the group and may be inspiring to them as well. As always, you will leave the meeting better informed and hopefully better connected to others in the community!
