For something a little bit different this month, and in keeping with our health and wellbeing theme, Petrina King will demonstrate simple and easy ways we can gain and retain our mobility for gardening.
“I have worked in the medical industry for over 6 years, doing ultrasounds on many wonderful people for a whole range of issues. In this time I have came to love & understand the body more and more, it’s one hell of a magical machine! Recently I have been studying the ancient and oh so amazing practice of yoga which has yet again opened my eyes in so many ways. My life is now a fusion of Western Medicine and Yoga, with a generous sprinkle of my love for nature! Join me for a few minutes of breathing, moving, giggling & connecting; keeping that wonderful body of yours in the garden for many more years to come :)”
It’s a wrap! For our final raffle of the year, and with the festive season upon us, our team have taken the theme of gift-giving and are offering a fantastic prize of wrappings and cards.
Do consider bringing friends or neighbours to our meetings. It’s how we grow the group and may be inspiring to them as well. As always, you will leave the meeting better informed!
Permaculture Noosa Club Nights are held at the Cooroy Memorial Hall on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Doors open at 5.45 pm, when a market takes place where we share surplus home grown produce, plants and seeds by giving, exchanging or selling. Usually, there is a 45 – 60 minute keynote presentation as well as other shorter presentations on various permaculture related subjects.
Entry is a $5 donation for non-members. There is no charge for members. Anyone who has genuine financial difficulties will not be turned away. The meeting begins promptly at 6.30 pm and the night is complete with a shared supper at 8.45 pm (gold coin donation, or you are welcome to bring a plate to add to the table). All welcome.
