Curious about the moon’s influence on your garden? Join us on the 1st of June at Cooroy Memorial Hall from 6pm to hear from Anne Gibson, a local author who you may know as The Micro Gardener . Discover the ancient practice of moon gardening and how to work with nature for better harvests and healthy plants. Learn how to time your planting and garden activities, taking advantage of the moon phase for quicker seed germination and propagation, robust plant growth and higher yields with examples from Anne’s garden. Anne will have some of her really easy-to-use and very practical moon planting calendars for sale on the night! We are so excited to be welcoming Anne into our community and we hope you can join us TOO!

ALSO….Don’t forget the community raffle! Bring anything you wish to donate to the raffle, whether it be excess produce, homemade goodies or little crafty bits and bobs! We will also be welcoming you all to join us for a “bring a plate” or “gold coin” shared supper after the meeting and of course for a chat! See you on the 1st of June!

Permaculture Noosa monthly meetings are held at the Cooroy Memorial Hall on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Doors open at 6:00 pm, when a market takes place, where we share surplus home grown produce and plants by giving, exchanging or selling. At 6:30 pm our presentation begins which includes an interesting guest speaker each month.

Entry is a $5 donation for non-members. There is no charge for members. Anyone who has genuine financial difficulties and cannot afford the entry donation will be excused. We will not turn anyone away.

Do consider bringing friends or neighbours to our meetings. It’s how we grow the group and may be inspiring to them as well. As always, you will leave the meeting better informed!
