We are back! On August 16 we will be hosting our first ‘Club Day’ at the Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens in lieu of our usual monthly Club Nights. This will be a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine, the cool weather and the fresh air, as well as inviting you all to see the hard work of our awesome volunteers who have kept the gardens growing, thriving and happy!

On the 16th we will be running a number of activities:

Starting at 9 am we will have our wonderful SEED SAVERS group sorting, packing, sharing and learning.
Running alongside this will be the WORKING BEE in our beautiful gardens, enjoying the sunshine, getting our hands dirty and tending to this gorgeous space of ours!
Also, the HARVEST SWAP will run between 10 am and 10.45 am. We invite you to bring excess produce, plant cuttings, home baked goodies, preserves, even empty jars to swap for what you think is a fair exchange for what you contributed—money-less system! Woo!
PLANT and SEED SALES will also be happening—what else could you want!!
And to wrap up the day we will have an excellent PRESENTATION from Maria, a local herbalist, mother of two, naturopath and massage therapist, who will be sharing the medicinal, culinary and health benefits of the humble ginger!
We will also be launching our new CCPG Shelter CAMPAIGN! You’ll have the opportunity to look at the new design, and we’ll be selling RAFFLE TICKETS for our major fundraiser for the building.

August 16th from 9 am—midday at Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens, 26 Emerald Street, Cooroy. Lock it in. Pack your garden clothes, a few dollars for plants, seeds and raffle tickets, and a big smile. Cannot wait to catch up with you!
