Hello members, at out last Committee Meeting, it was decided to have an auction once per quarter.
The idea was born out of the Re-Gift event we held at the December Club Night which was quite a bit of fun. The committee is very conscious of the need to fund raise in order to fulfil the hopes, dreams, and long-term continuity of both Permaculture Noosa (PCN) & Cooroy Community Gardens (CCG). The idea is that members or friends who might have something useful, that they no longer want or need, and are willing to donate it to PCN, so that it can be auctioned on the night as a fund raiser for PCN and the CCG.
If your item isn’t sold, then we would ask that you take it home with you.
How this will work is, you would email Permaculture Noosa Treasurer Wendy Strathearn firstname.lastname@example.org along with a photo of your item for auction. Wendy will then email it to our Newsletter Editor, after ensuring your name has been kept private. You then bring it along to the predetermined quarterly Auction segment on Club Night. The Club Night which includes the Auction segment will be advertised well in advance. The first Auction will be June; the following TBA.
