Annual General Meeting 2023 – 10 am Saturday 21 October

Cooroy Community Gardens,

26 Emerald Street, Cooroy.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will commence at 10.00 am.

Come along to help shape and support the next exciting phase of our development now that we have our pavilion built and our gardens growing!

Morning tea (please bring a plate to share) and social chat plus chance to ask questions for those who are interested in joining one of the sub-committees/working groups will be held after the AGM concludes. Please register an expression of interest for the working groups/subcommittees here.

Our AGM will be held in the new Pavilion at Cooroy Community Gardens. Please come along and support your organisation!

Under our Constitution, the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary will be declared vacant at our AGM, as well as ordinary committee member positions. Expressions of interest in joining one of the proposed working groups (Pavilion, Gardens, Club Nights, Open Gardens and Seed Savers/Library Workshops) are also invited – these are non-binding and you can express interest and/or ask questions about these over a cup of tea after the AGM.

Nominations will be accepted at the AGM if any of the following positions remain unfilled: President, Vice-president, Secretary, committee member

We are entering a period when we really want to make the most of the new pavilion and gardens while managing users in a way that supports the club and cares for the building and surrounds. In addition to the pavilion, we have amazing new facilities in the garden such as the new shade house, worm farm and compost bays and we hope there will be many opportunities for members to learn from attending workshops, demonstrations and working bees at the gardens, to connect with others through social events such as Friday Night Pizzas and to potentially host their own events in the gardens or pavilion.

So, if you are enthusiastic and willing to help out, and wish to work with a dynamic and dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you and hope you can come along!
