With the change of seasons, it is always glorious to watch the changes that take place in the gardens. At Cooroy Community Permaculture Gardens (CCPG) things are changing, evolving, and shifting rapidly with help from many wonderful volunteers. New garden beds have been placed at the front of the land, filled with lots of organic food growing goodness, slowly getting ready to be planted in! We are so grateful to have familiar and new faces tending to the gardens. Sue, Sandra, Michael & Jenny were helped by local man Jason Thompson from ‘Sustainability Property Group’, experts in Off-Grid Design & Development since 1989! Jason approached us recently after attending a club day at the gardens and has been instrumental in some great changes since. Here is his website if you wish to learn more www.sustainabilityproperty.com

We also celebrated Compost Week last week by holding a great workshop with support from our pals at Noosa Library Service. Petrina & Katie led a wonderful group of locals through simple composting methods that are accessible even to those living with small backyards! The workshop covered troubleshooting, key ingredients and how to tend to your compost. If you’d like to know more or get some hands-on experience with composting, email us at info@permaculturenoosa.com.au

Over and out from CCPG for this month!
