URGENT!!! Due to the unavailability of the Cooroy Primary School Hall, our meeting for the 21st September will be held in the Cooroy Primary School Resource Centre. To access the Cooroy Primary School Resource Centre, enter the gate at the southern end of the school nearest the traffic lights which is the staff car park. Unfortunately there is no kitchen at the Resouce Centre, so we have been forced to reluctantly cancel the caterers for the 21st. So there will be no meals for this upcoming meeting. There are facilities for tea making, so supper is still “on”.
This month’s meeting will look at to our place in nature, through the perspective of SCEC as presented by Narelle McCarthy, Liaison and Advocacy, Sunshine Coast Environment Council.

Then after that there will be a short ten minute presentation and guide on what to be planting for this present season. Elisabeth Fekonia will be talking about yams, yakon and taros for the meeting plant profile.

Then last thing before supper, as per the new programme, we’ll draw the raffle and make the announcements. It looks like its set to be a fantastic meeting – as always, you will leave the meeting better informed than you were at the beginning!
Permaculture Noosa monthly meetings are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Doors open at 6:00pm. A market takes place where we share surplus home grown produce and plants by giving, exchanging or selling. Entry is a gold coin donation for non-members. The meeting begins at 6.30pm and the night is complete with a “bring a plate” shared supper at 8pm. All welcome.
